 GRANDES SAGAS DE VIDEOJUEGOS:

Over the last 30 years we have enjoyed countless video games and their respective sagas. Choosing the best video game sagas is an almost impossible task, but here we will tell you a few that you will surely love:

  • Fallout:
Bethesda is characterized by creating the best open world games that have existed such as Fallout or The Elder Scrolls, Fallout in this case is a post-apocalyptic open world which has captivated each person who plays it. His saga has 4 deliveries of story mode and one online.

  • Mortal Kombat:

When the 2D fighting genre began to gain importance, Midway brought out its most important characters, Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Raiden, who 30 years later are still fighting in Mortal Kombat 11.

  • Doom:
In the early '90s, id Software took advantage of the PCs of the time to invent the genre of the subjective shooter, first with Wolfenstein 3D and, later, with Doom. The company has continued to cultivate the two sagas to this day, in both cases with frantically direct gameplay that dispenses with cover and bets on heavy weapons, either to exterminate Nazis or to slaughter demons from the abyssal depths of Martian hell.

  • God of War:
The PlayStation 2 era was particularly prolific when it came to new-fangled sagas, and the most outstanding was, without a doubt, God of War, an adventure set in ancient Greece and starring Kratos, a Spartan who embarked on a journey of revenge against the gods of Olympus. After several installments for PS2, PS3 and PS3, it seemed that everything had been said, but Cory Barlog decided to transfer the god of war to Norse mythology, put an ax in his hands and make him a father to reinvigorate him. We can't wait to see what the Spartan is capable of on PS5.
  • Call of Duty:
Games set in the second world war there are many, but Activision could not imagine the phenomenon that would lead to Call of Duty. After its first installments, the saga diversified into other conflicts outside of wars, giving rise to Modern Warfaren, which the saga took an incredible leap for its multiplayer games. Currently the last 4 deliveries are not the best there have been but you can continue playing the previous ones.
  • Tomb Raider:
Lara Croft soon became a star. His archaeological adventures treasured unquestionable quality, although over the years, the level was lowered, until reaching the new trilogy which is the best personally with Tomb Raider, Rise of The Tomb Raider and Shadow of The Tomb Raider.

  • Resident Evil:
Alone in the Dark had already done something similar before this phenomenon, but Capcom gave rise to the best survival horror saga, with Resident Evil, whose protagonist was Jill Valentine, his first game is very good, but Resident Evil 2 and 3 are two works of art, then they released the fourth part that was more shooter than survival horror, from then on they released the same or derivations of the story, but in 2017 they released Resident Evil 7 Biohazard, with this they put an end to their old characters and they began with the story of Ethan Winters with the Bakers, in the last installment (Resident Evil 8: Village) Ethan's adventure continues, but this time in Romania and killing werewolves and vampires.
  • Castlevania:
The Castlevania saga has had great importance in the life of video games, there are games in each of these eras, but here I stop to say that I am going to talk about the Castlevania Lords Of Shadows trilogy, obviously personally, in 2013 Castlevania Lords of Shadows is published , which reinvented the formula of the 2D castlevanias, but this time it was in 3D, you were Gabriel Belmont and you have been given the mission of killing the 3 lords of the shadows, which was the dark lycanthrope lord, the dark lord vampire and the dark lord necromancer, and you embark on an adventure destroying enemies and making new friends, his main weapon is the combat cross, but you will get artifacts to improve your weapon and armor, there is also a skill tree, as for the scenarios, they are spectacular, especially when you finish the snow forest mission and see Dracula's castle in the background, the enemy mechanics are very varied and we are based on a single mo movement and learning the patterns (which I learned myself), here its patterns are based on 3 movements of attack, defense and strong attack, which you have to take advantage of to attack, and the bosses are very varied in terms of difficulty, the game it has 4 difficulty modes (easy, normal, hard and lord of shadows), when you finish the game you have two dlcs which explain the events of the following games, after this is Castlevania Lords of Shadows: Mirror of Fate , which is in 2D but is also incredible, and the third installment, Castlevania Lords of Shadows 2, which is called 2 but would be the third, but this is in 3D and repeats the formula of the first but with a semi-open world. In conclusion I will say that I have 5,000 hours which is 208 days, I have it 100% with all the difficulties, improvements and collectibles, speaking of the first installment. The game has 10 hours of gameplay if you just go to the story.

Here I leave a link in case you want to see a gameplay of the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11qs1ddrAus
